Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers about browser support, camera permissions, connection quality, privacy and room access.

Do guests need to install an application?

No. Guests can join using a supported web browser. They only need to allow camera and microphone access when prompted.

Which browser should I use?

Use an updated version of Chrome or Edge for the simplest experience. Safari and Firefox may also work, but important sessions should always be tested on the intended device beforehand.

Why is my camera or microphone not working?

Check the browser's site permissions and make sure the correct camera and microphone are selected. Close other applications that may already be using the device, then reload the page.

Camera and microphone access requires your permission and a secure HTTPS connection.

Why is the video choppy or disconnecting?

Connection quality depends on the guest's internet connection, Wi-Fi signal, device performance and network restrictions.

Try a wired connection, stronger Wi-Fi, another network or temporarily disabling a restrictive VPN.

Is my session automatically recorded?

No. A session is not automatically recorded unless recording has been explicitly enabled.

Always confirm that recording is active before starting an important production.

Who can enter my room?

Anyone with a valid invitation link may attempt to join. Use a unique room name and enable a room password for private productions.

Only share the invitation link with people you trust.

Is the connection completely anonymous?

No online communication system should be described as completely anonymous.

Peer-to-peer participants may be able to see each other's public IP addresses, and some restricted networks may require a relay connection.
